Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Vanity Fair September 2008

9月份《Vanity Fair》的封面故事，介紹曾擔任名模，歌手，現為法國第一夫人的 Carla Bruni-Sarkozy。文章中，Karl Lagerfeld 提到他對 Bruni的看法：
“She’s imaginative, clever, educated. She knows how to behave,” says designer Karl Lagerfeld, who often used Bruni as a model. “She speaks many languages. It must be an embarrassment for the wives of other heads of state to see this beautiful creature who can wear anything and speak like that.”
雖然我已經過了偶像崇拜的年紀，Lagerfeld 倒是說了一句，我覺得對任何女人來說，遑論 Carla Bruni，都是很棒的讚美；“She knows how to behave.”。雖然這幾個字看起來好像很簡單，做起來卻很難。因為它需要動態的綜合能力，包含對場所的認知、形勢的研判及眾多細節的關注，而不僅僅只是「合宜的舉止」這麼簡單。如果有一天，我可以被人這麼稱讚，我想，我會開心上天吧。
